Minecraft and Data Vis!

Check out this awesome work created by High School students in Maryland combining Minecraft with water quality data! Dissolved oxygen data was collected in a small tributary to the St. Mary’s River, Indigo’s Bay, last summer. As a result, Wesley (MineProWes) and his friends built a model of St. Indigo’s Bay and are exploring ways to incorporate the data collected into the model using various data visualization techniques. The CMC team is working with Wesley to identify potential larger educational tools that might be beneficial to the Chesapeake community!
